Analytics : Filters have been improved.
The filters in AnalyticsV2 now supports “filter as you type” feature, which means that when typing you will get proposals based on the given filter. Those proposals are not based anymore on the seen data but on the object you are searching for, so that you have more flexibility, for example : you are now able to do an “OR” operation.
Moreover, the proposals are now sorted alphabatically.
Last but not least, the design has been reviewed, we removed the tooltip on the proposals and clicking on the label is adding the filter with operation.
Analytics : New dashboard on the DXM dashboards: display the page where the asset has been published.
On all the dashboards about external hits (asset detail analytics + global stats), we added a new dashboard about the http referer (the exact page where the asset was published) on where the hit is taken place.
Note that some browser are masking this info, so the exact page would be in this case the domaine name:
Boards in the back-office: multiple improvements
The file type is now added on all the asset of a board, below the thumbnail :
It’s now possible to search for asset within a board :
Before this version, the displayed name was the one in the current locale. This coud lead to empty name if it was empty. It will now automatically fallback to the english name if the internationalized name is empty.
A new Shutterstock Image bank connector
When companies have a corporate account on Shutterstock, multiple people can buy the same image or video multiple times. There is also an intense manual work needed to copy all bought art from the Shutterstock image bank to the Wedia Dam, including proper licenses, tags, captions.
This Wedia version introduces a new Shutterstock connector to solve all these issues: with the connector, all art bought on a corporate Shutterstock account will be automatically transferred into the Wedia DAM, along with all the relevant metadata.
Read here how to setup the Shutterstock image bank integration.
Bulk update templates
A lot of bulk update is always happening on the same set of metadata, and that called for an evolution that would ease their work: "bulk update templates":
Templates can be saved, retrieved for later, and shared among the team, which will save a lot of time to the teams in charge of the DAM data quality.
CSRF protection for the Portal
We added a new layer of protection for the Portal, by enabling CSRF protection to better protect people accessing the Wedia application. Please note that the CSRF protection is not currently compatible with the Adobe Content Picker.
This control is not activated by default. Its activation may also require adaptations of your APIs (to protect them) and your possible applications (JSP) which would invoke APIs served by the WXM_RESTAPI plugin. The details of the measures to take are indicated in the upgrade guide.
Adobe Content Picker ready for Adobe CC2023
Adobe released a CC2023 during their Adobe Max event that was not compatible with our Creative Cloud connector, this is now fixed: all plugins should update automatically to support the CC2023 version.
Pendo.io integration
This is also the first release that integrates the Pendo tagging: Pendo is a tool that will help us expand the DAM usage by providing users with guidance, announcements, and two-way communication directly in the DAM. We will keep users engaged by understanding their behaviors, and introduce them to capabilities that unlock additional value based on their needs.
