Introduction
All information about assets is stored in the asset object. To see all its properties, open the administration view and click on Object Management. Select the object asset.
Note | It is possible to define more than one asset object, e.g. to separate images from logos or videos. |
Tip | Recommendation: One object only! (Because that is easier to configure) |
Important tags
An asset object needs the following tag:
damobject
If there are videos stored, the object needs the following tag too:
dam_video (to create the different renditions)
Tip | Further the video transcoder must be activated (Administration > Plug-In Manager).     |
Create new DAM object
Administration > Object Management
Search for asset
Click Copy object
Name it
Configure the new object
