Configuration
...
This template could be an ad or a poster. It can be scaled both proportionally and non-proportionally.
As you can see the template includes an image, an eyecatcher and some text. No matter how you change the format, the people in the picture are always visible. Besides that, if more text is inserted into the eyecatcher, so that text overflow occurs, the text size is reduced after adaption.
Image
...
The image is equipped with an anchor on all four sides. A fixed anchor is placed at the document margins (right, top and left) so that a fixed distance to the document edge of 0mm is always maintained.
A relative anchor is placed at the lower edge of the frame so that the image is scaled proportionally in height.
In addition to the anchors set, Image Scaling has been activated in the Dylation panel. This offers the possibility of setting the minimum and maximum image detail to be taken into account in the format adaptation. The image section has been selected so that the faces are completely contained in the minimal image section.
Eyecatcher
...
At three frame edges (top, right and bottom) the eyecatcher has been provided with a relative anchor so that the distances automatically adapt to the format change in case of a format adaptation. The Proportional Size function is activated to ensure that the eyecatcher retains its round shape and does not become oval even with disproportional format adaptation. A fourth anchor is not required due to this setting.
In addition, the Font size adaption function must be activated so that the text size for a format adaptation is adapted accordingly. In addition to the scaling factor source, the Avoid Overflow function is activated in the text settings. This setting causes the font size in the disturbing element to be reduced if more text is used, so that the content fits completely into the disturbing element. However, if the specified text is shortened in the eyecatcher, the font size is not reduced.
Headline
...
...
...
The frame is marked with a relative anchor at the left, upper and right frame edges, so that the distances are automatically adjusted during a format adaptation relative to the format change. The lower edge of the frame has no anchors, as the Text Fit function is activated. For this function, a frame edge must remain free. The frame edge that remains free is the edge that shifts depending on the content. The Text Fit function is configured so that the text can shrink and grow to a maximum of two lines.
In addition, the Font size adaption function must be activated for the headline, so that the text size of a format adaptation is adapted accordingly (smaller/larger).
Copy text
...
The copy text has a relative distance arrow at the top edge of the frame, which is connected to the bottom edge of the headline. If the headline shrinks or grows, the arrow ensures that the distance between the headline and the copy always remains at the specified size.
The other edges of the frame (left, bottom, right) are equipped with a relative anchor so that the distances to the edge of the format are automatically adjusted when a format adaptation is made relative to the format change.
The Font size adaption function must also be activated for the copy text so that the text size is adapted accordingly for a format adaptation.
Adaption
Before adaption, original size (W*H): 210mm * 297mm
...
After adaption, size (W*H): 180mm * 310mm
...
After adaption, size (W*H): 240mm * 280mm
