Introduction
All information about assets is stored in the asset object. To see all its properties, open the administration view and click on Object Management. Select the object asset.
Note
It is possible to define more than one asset object, e.g. to separate images from logos or videos
Tip
Recommendation: One object only!
(Because that is easier to configure)
Important tags
An asset object needs the following tag:
damobject
If there are videos stored, the object needs the following tag too:
dam_video (to create the different renditions)
Further the video transcoder must be activated (Administration > Plug-In Manager).
Create new DAM object
Administration > Object Management
Search for asset
Click Copy object
Name it
Configure the new object
