You can upload your assets to your Digital Asset Management system both as a logged-in user as well as an external user. Normally, assets upload instantaneously. Larger assets might take some more time to convert and upload, but you can continue working in the portal throughout that process. Assets are uploaded together with their metadata and copyright information.
Wedia offers different ways to upload files.
Option 1: Drag & Drop
Choose the menu entry Assets & Contents > Upload assets or the Upload assets button in the Asset view.
Select the required files in your Finder or Explorer.
Drag the files you want to use into the appropriate area.
Click the button Upload files.
Option 2: Choose single files
Choose the menu entry Assets & Contents > Upload assets or the Upload assets button in the Asset view.
Click the button Choose files.
Select the required files.
Click the button Upload files.
Option 3: Import ZIP files
Like option 2, but don’t forget to check the Uncompress .ZIP files and import their content box.
Option 4: Import from FTP server
Choose the menu entry Assets & Contents > Upload assets or the Upload assets button in the Asset view.
Click the tab *Download from FTP server.
Edit the required fields and checkboxes.
Click the button Upload files.
