The line path tools allow you to draw vectorial lines in your desktop-publishing software without requiring Freehand, Inkscape or Illustrator®.

You can use line paths in documents aimed to be handled by the platform.

However, we advise you to follow the common sens good practices when drawing them, to guarantee the PDF will be correctly printed:

  • black paths must have a weight upper than 0.5pt

  • path in four-color process (and also rich black) must have a weight upper than 0.75pt

  • avoid opacity on the paths you draw

  • take care about the knock-out/overprint parameters.
