Version

The first step in the migration process is to upgrade the existing application system to the required version, 2023.3.1.

This version contains essential updates and improvements that will enable the correct management of the application from the setup interface and enhance the system's performance, security, and functionality.

Database

In order to use the new setup interface, it is required to use MariaDB as the database management system for the application.

 

Structures

The following structures are required in order to administrate the roles inside the new setup interface :

  • objectfamily

  • pkgsecugroup

  • pkgroletemplate

  • pkgsecupermissions

Plugins

The following plugins are required for the correct usage of the new setup interface and need to be activated in your environment:

  • WXM_CONFIG_RESOLVER

  • PACKAGED_CONFIGS

  • PACKAGED_Appearance_Config

  • PACKAGED_BASES

  • PACKAGED_FACES

  • PACKAGED_BOV3_Extensions
