Setting Up Workflows

Introduction

Workflows can be used to establish one or many processes. You can define as many workflows as you want. Wedia offers a graphical interface to adopt default workflows or to create custom workflows.

Note

Workflows do not trigger any action by default. You need a developer for coding the required behaviour.

The property status is connected to workflows.

Administration

Open the administration view and click on Workflows.

Change workflow

Option 1
  1. Open Administration > Workflows

  2. Select a workflow

     

  3. Change workflow as required

Option 2
  1. Select object

  2. Select property, column Nature

  3. Click on workflow name

  4. Workflow assistant will open

  5. Add requested state

  6. Sort state column

  7. Choose colour

  8. Add transition

  9. Give transition a name

  10. Click on Bindings tab to add some logic like visibility or edibility

  11. Add some action if necessary

Create new workflow

  1. Open Administration > Workflows

  2. Click New

  3. Name the workflow (Use only letters and digits, no blanks or additional characters. The name can not be used by an existing object.)

  4. Add the required states and actions
