Introducing a WediaTransfer, a Fast, Secure Solution for Large File Transfers—Up to 10GB in a Single Go, Outside the DAM!
Our service provides our clients with a rapid and secure solution designed to streamline the transfer of large files—up to 10GB at once—without storing them in the DAM.
When files are shared, they are sent via an email link. The recipient receives a unique, expiring download link, and the sender gets notified as soon as the download process begins on the recipient's end.
These files are never integrated into the DAM. Instead, they are temporarily stored in a dedicated and secure space within a European datacenter.
These files are retained for a maximum of 15 days to safeguard your data security.
To initiate a file share, you need to have an account on the DAM and be logged in—your role could be anything from a reader to a contributor. However, to receive a shared file, having a DAM account is not necessary; all you need is a valid email address.

REST API for Asset History
Our new REST API enables you to query an asset’s entire history, including actions such as views, downloads, updates, comments, and versioning.
The brand-new API endpoint: /api/wedia/analytics/getAssetHistory can be accessed using a POST request.
Here are the parameters you can use:
asset: This represents the UID of the asset.
from: By default, this is set to the beginning of the current month.
to: The default setting is the start of the current day.
max: This parameter controls the maximum number of events returned. By default, it's set at 20. Please note that increasing this number will extend the response time.
Extended Copyright Features in Portal Upload
We’re making copyright management a breeze. When you upload via the Portal, you’ll now find buttons to Extend Copyright End Date by 1 year, 5 years, and so on, giving you more control over your digital assets.
