Wedia Figma Content Picker
Introducing the brand new connector between the Wedia Digital Asset Management and Figma solution! This powerful tool allows graphic designers to seamlessly integrate their work in Figma with our extensive library of digital assets.
With this connector, designers can easily search for the perfect images, graphics, and other assets within our platform, and then use them directly within their Figma projects.
Whether you're working on a website design, a marketing campaign, or any other visual project, this connector streamlines the process and saves valuable time. With this new feature, you'll be able to access your entire library of assets without ever leaving Figma, making your workflow more efficient and productive than ever before.
The documentation for this Figma Content Picker is available here.
Web-to-print improvements
The web to print editor comes with new features in this version :
Fine grained permissions at the box level to change fonts, text sizes, and text color in a limited list set up by the template editor in InDesign.
The InDesign Tagging palette has been extended for the template designer to set up, at the box level, the list of fonts, sizes, and colors that are allowed in this text box.
These enrichments override the style setting, so if the basic style text color is blue, and you are allowed to choose red as a color for this text box, the red color will override the blue text color.
Text direction management for RTL / LRT mixed content
It’s now possible to switch the direction of a selected text to force it to right-to-left or the other way around :
This feature can be deactivated in the plugin management.
Undo button
An undo button that enables to rollback to the last modification typed by the user :
DXM : A new asset list mode displays the number of hits on assets, and the referrer domain of these hits
The "Asset publication" mode in the data list feature allows tracking the distribution of assets. It links each asset to its views on the DXM, providing insight into the most frequently used assets. Utilize the filters on the left or the fulltext search for more specific analysis. To activate this mode, select the cog in the datalist view and select "Asset Publication."
You will then land on the new mode screen :
By default the analytics period is the last 30 days but you can change it though the selector on the top up to the last year.
